Grave of My Dreams

today I am brought back
from the grave of my dreams
as they were never meant to be
fulfilled by my own hands
for what I dreamed was
nothing but mere illusions

the stubborn me
never understood the truth
that the  race I joined to
got no endings

I am glad being brought back
from the grave of my dreams
to the deck of pragmatic thinkers
in the battle of astute survivors..
